Members and friends of Westminster Presbyterian Church embarked to Pascagoula, Mississippi last March 10-17 to assist with the rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Katrina. Along with a group from Christ Church in Richmond, VA, we served as part of the sheetrock ministry of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Pascagoula. We spent the week learning how to apply drywall, beautifying debris-strewn landscapes, and making friendships in Christ.
