Westminster follows the Alexandria City Public Schools for weather related closings. When the Alexandria City Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions, the church office and church building will be closed.  That will apply to all daytime and evening activities scheduled for our church building.  Late openings by the school system will not affect the church’s schedule in any way.  However, if Alexandria City Schools open one or two hours late, then the Westminster Weekday Preschool will open one hour late. 

Evening activity cancellation by the school system does not automatically cancel church evening activities.  Members should call the church office or check the church website for schedule changes.

Changes to the worship schedule, due to weather, will be posted on the church phone and website not later than 6:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.   For other Sunday activities, please check with your individual group leader to see if non-worship activities will occur.
