Welcome...
A message from Pastor Larry R. Hayward.

It is a privilege to welcome you to this website. I hope it provides a sense of who we are and what we believe for members, friends, and people exploring churches in Northern Virginia.

Westminster is a terrific congregation….open, thoughtful, energetic. Despite having nearly 900 members, we are a close-knit community. We care. We are committed to getting to know our members and visitors, and hope that as a church, we can nurture everyone who comes to us in the Christian faith in a way that fits who God has made them, and Christ has redeemed them, to be. Above all, in all that we do, we seek to “worship well.”

If you are exploring faith for the first time, seeking to reconnect with your faith, or searching for a church home and would like to learn more about Westminster, just call me at 703-549-4766 or email me at LHayward@wpc-alex.org. I would enjoy a conversation with you. If you visit in worship, introduce yourself at the door so I can have a name to go with your face.

Hope to see you soon!

Larry

Our Mission Statement

Worship is the center of Westminster life.  In worship we hear the Word of God proclaimed in sermon and celebrated in song and sacrament.  By the grace of Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit we commit ourselves to mission, education and fellowship so that we can serve God faithfully.  As a community we help each other grow in faith, and we welcome to Westminster Presbyterian Church all who seek to discover the meaning and significance of Jesus Christ in their lives.

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the MidAtlantic Synod and the National Capital Presbytery.
