Worship is the center of Westminster life.  In worship we hear the Word of God proclaimed in sermon and celebrated in song and sacrament.  By the grace of Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit we commit ourselves to mission, education and fellowship so that we can serve God faithfully.  As a community we help each other grow in faith, and we welcome to Westminster Presbyterian Church all who seek to discover the meaning and significance of Jesus Christ in their lives.

Westminster Presbyterian Church is a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the MidAtlantic Synod and the National Capital Presbytery.

In early 2008 the Westminster session formed an Envisioning Task Force with the charge to discern "what's next" for our congregation following the successful renovation of our church.  The group is seeking input from the congregation on what they consider the most important questions surrounding the future ministry of Westminster.  Two Town Hall Meetings will be held on Sunday, May 4 following the 11:00 worship service and on Monday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. during which members may discuss and express thoughts on this.  See the links below for information on the Town Hall Meetings as well as on the Task Force and its charge.
