Welcome Youth!

Now faith, hope and love abide, and the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13)

We love, because we have hope.

We have hope, because we have faith.

We have faith, because God so loved the world…

 Faith Love Hope

Middle School Youth Cafe (grades 6-7): On most Sundays until Memorial Day, we will meet from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. in Room 405.  Together, we will encounter the stories and people of Scripture and let them speak to our lives.  Join us for what we hope to be an engaging mix of activities, discussion and more.

Confirmation (8th grade): Beginning in January 2012, our 8th graders will begin a several month process by which they will explore their faith and interest in becoming full members of the church.  Prior to confirmation, 8th graders are welcome to participate in the MS Youth Cafe.

WEEKLY FELLOWSHIPS (SEPTEMBER - MAY)

Fellowship is our weekly gathering with lots of friendship, laughter, sharing and prayer.

Middle School Fellowship meets most Sundays from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the Youth Rooms.

Senior High Fellowship meets most Sundays from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the Youth Rooms.

YOUTH MUSIC (SEPTEMBER - MAY)

A wonderful way to grow in faith through worship (grades 6-12).  Our Youth Handbell choir will meet most Sundays from 3:45 to 4:30 in the Sanctuary and share their music during occasional Sunday services.  Our Youth Ensemble group will meet in short bursts during the year (typically Sundays, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.) in preparation for singing during occasional Sunday worship services.

YOUTH MISSION

In addition to our great summer national and international mission trips, we seek to be involved locally in programs such as the ALIVE! Last Saturday Food Distribution, Food and Friends (DC), Bag Lunch Program, Help the Homeless Walkathon, and more.  We also seek the congregation's support through fundraisers.

PARENTS! The number one influence on the religious life of your children is...you!  So, the church wants to help you, and our programs need your help.  Contact Patrick if you are willing to serve in these focus areas: Youth Parent Ministers, Mission Fundraisers and Trip Support.

Hello, and welcome!

I’m so glad you’re thinking about joining us. We are a group of middle schoolers, senior highs, and young-hearted adults who like to laugh, play, learn, pray and serve together as part of a vibrant and supportive church community.

We come together because God has passion for us. God gave us everything in Jesus Christ, who loved his people – and loves us -- so much, he endured and overcame death on a cross. Nothing can separate us from that love: not endless waves of homework and tests, not schedules filled with practices and events, not the college admissions process or low self-esteem or bad choices or broken relationships. Nothing!

That’s good news. And with the Spirit’s help, our youth ministry is about sharing it. We would love for you to join us.

Blessings,
Patrick
